LOWELL -- Eyeful Beauty hosted its sixth annual cancer-fighting fundraiser on Sunday, Sept. 20, at The Village Smokehouse Tavern. Spunky owner Megan Harrah and her dynamic design team drew in at least 400 locals, who enjoyed an exciting night which included more than 60 raffles, a photo booth with Joe Chaitin and his daughter Emma, live music from DJ to bands, and plenty of fun, food and drinks from The Smokehouse Tavern, who generously donated 15 percent of their earnings for the evening.
Such young ladies are to be commended for their high spirit in the fight against cancer. In 2014, with the support of local organizations, Eyeful Beauty raised more than $10,000, donating 100 percent of the proceeds to TeamWalk for Cancer Care at Lowell General Hospital. This event has raised more than $36,000 in the last five years. Sunday's event was estimated to raise more than $10,000. Way to go, beautiful ladies!
